This advert was designed for Adidas, advertising campaign which was displayed in London is a clever way of communicating a message, the use of foliage to create a familiar image makes the billboard become almost a sculpture, creating interest. The decision to not use typography is a good idea as typography would have deffered the viewer from the message rather than engage them.

I don't like anything about this advert, the imagry is bad and doesn't combine well, the colours are too harsh and the message isn't even being portrayed. The typography used is bad and the hierarchy is non existent.
I think this advert for red bull is a good use of typography, taking the actual letters and adding a fun image suits the brand and adds a quirky tagline, the images created from the actual letters are associated with the product and create interest and fun.
Typography use - Dislike
Although an interesting use of layering is used the actual typography appears lost and obscured, the colours blend an the type just blends into the image, the use of popular logo's forces your eye to focus on these rather than the typography or even the visual image created.

Poster - Like
The colours used in this poster are an unusual combination, i like the way the colour changes when the two are combined, the image gives the impression of screen print, the hierarchy is good and the information is portrayed clearly.
Poster - Dislike
This poster has too much going on, the event it is advertising is not clear until you look at the poster indepth. The colours become merged and the hierarchy is not clear. The typography used isn't suitable or clear and the overuse of large logo's confuses the poster further.

Although popular the google logo appears amateurish, the bevelled typography and bad choice of typeface is frustrating and the colours and the order of colour hasnt had much thought.

The clean structure of this editorial design ensure the message is clear, the colours used give an impression of quality. I like the way part of the word 'Mission' is reversed, this adds interest to a design which could of appeared boring.
Editorial - Dislike
The images on this editorial piece are interesting but this is overshaddowed by the bad use of typography, the multiple angles are distracting and have caused the typography to break up and become hard to read.
