Working with given words we thought of as many words or images which could be connected to the word, we were asked to think of the word in different situations to gain as many associations as possible, this was a good exercise to think 'outside the box' quickly.

Speak To Your Dad Day advertising campaign
We were asked to generate rough visuals to advertise a 'Speak to your Dad' campaign
for Age Concern.

Using dad doing embarrassing things but in a humorous way
Time to talk to Dad? jokey slogan to encourage communication
Could be used in different scenarios

Quite literal poster idea, shouting through a megaphone to attract dads attention

Idea for a TV advert
1. General family breakfast
2. Dad rushing out of the door to work
3. Child sitting sadly at window
4. Child looking in a shed for a rope
5. Dad running for the bus
6. Child chasing dad and lassoing him
Aim is to show families to slow down and communicate with each other

Poster idea - using child/adult in unusual situations, eg: underwater, in space, in the dessert
To give the idea of being able to talk to Dad wherever you are

Poster idea to show a jokey image of dad gagged and child talking to him
The idea of sometimes having to listen

Could be used either as a poster or as an actual ad campaign
Using the image of a football scoreboard to simply say 'Talk to Dad'

A literal poster to show child shouting through microphone into dads headphones
To suggest that you should make time to talk and that there are alternative ways to communicate
